Starting new partnerships in the frame of the Erasmus+ Program is strongly stimulating for a recently born intermediary organization like INTERMOBEX. In 2019 many sending organizations decided to collaborate with us and we are grateful for that.
Among the new partners of the current year there is the Werner Heisenberg School, a vocational school in Rüsselsheim (Germany) with around 2.800 learners and a focus on business, mechatronics, educational science, electrical engineering, metal technology and nutrition.
We had the pleasure to cooperate with the Werner Heisenberg School in the Erasmus+ Project called “PiA – Praktikum im Ausland” which goals is, as the title suggests, allowing students to realize a traineeships abroad. Today many schools, especially the ones dedicated to Vocational Education, recognize the importance for their students to get some practical experience before entering the labour market and doing it abroad can be even more formative.
As explained in our recent blog article “How the Erasmus+ Program can boost your job career“, many students believe that participating in an Erasmus+ Mobility increases the opportunity to get more and better chances of employment. According to a report drawn up by the European Commission, in fact, 80% of the students who participated in an international exchange find a job within 3 months after graduation.
Going abroad with Erasmsus+ to boost your career
Gaining specific competencies and skills significant for their professional career was also the motivation of the 5 students from the Administration course who applied for a 5-weeks work placement under Erasmus+ at local companies in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
